The Koestler-Garger Family

Shane Garger and Amber Koestler move to MS in 2011 to get married. Amber, a Vicksburg native, was thankful to be home after several years of living elsewhere for work, business reasons. It was during this time the couple first discovered Lost Rabbit from resident, Luke Koestler. Amber was immediately sold with the idea of everything the community has to offer was hopeful one day to live here. 

The couple relocated to Nashville for seven years and decided to move back home in 2020 with the hope of starting a family. They first found an adorable cape cod style cottage on Lemoyne Street. In less than a year, they received an offer on their home and were able to purchase the St Jude Dream home of 2020 with the help from their amazing realtor Pam McGehee with The Chandler Group, said Koestler.

In 2022, Shane and Amber welcomed their miracle baby, Charleigh Kate, with open arms and are loving life at The Rabbit. 

Both Shane and Amber are in the world of hospitality, so having a community that hosts events with great food, music, and more has been awesome, according to Koestler. They also love being near the water and say they are looking forward to the continued growth in the neighborhood and at the marina area.
